Italy-based shipyard Rossinavi unveiled details about its new superyacht concept series called Infinity Project on 29th March at Palm Beach International Boat Show.
The new line will consist of four models; the 42-metre (138-foot) “entry level”, a 50-metre (164-foot) below 500GT, a 59-metre (194-foot) and the 69-metre (226-foot) flagship model.
Arrabito Naval Architects is responsible for the naval architecture of the aluminium series, while Italian architect Fulvio De Simoni leads both the exterior and interior design brief.
During the launch, it was announced that Camper & Nicholsons will act as the exclusive representative in the Americas for the Infinity series.
Wide outdoor areas on the upper deck and a fast displacement hull are signature features of the new line.
“I wanted a boat with extraordinary, sporty and unique design but with the same volume that is available on a more traditional yacht,” stated De Simoni.
The series will boast a top speed of around 20 knots, and all models will feature a shallow draft ranging between 2 metres and 2.75 metres. The yard revealed that the 42-metre model is specifically targeted at the US market, designed with a 2-metre draft.
A full engineering package is being developed by the yard, which should allow for the 42-metre and 50-metre to be delivered within 17 months and 22 months.
