Royal Denship launches M/Y Livingstone

Royal Denship has launched 24.3m M/Y Livingstone, part of its Classic 80 range.

Having completed her sea trials earlier this year, the displacement superyacht features a colourful steel hull with an aluminium superstructure, developed by Hartman Marine, in collaboration with naval architects Kroes & Poortinga, who designed her superstructure.

Whilst the specifics of her accommodation and layout have not yet been revealed, Livingstone has a beam of 6.7m, and standout features on board include a foredeck seating area, designed to match her colourful hull.

Livingstone also features a raised pilot house and storage for two tenders on her extended upper deck. Her electrical, AV, navigation and communications systems were all designed by Dutch company Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology.

Livingstone is powered by two MAN Tier II diesel engines, and is able to reach a top speed of 11 knots, with an output of 670hp. At a cruising speed of 10 knots, she is able to reach a maximum cruising range of around 3,000nm. According to Royal Denship, Livingstone’s owners are planning to use her to explore the Baltic Sea and the Norwegian fjords.
