In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Royal Huisman announced over the weekend that Sea Eagle, their latest 43-metre sailing sloop, has left the Huisman shipyard in Vollenhove in the Netherlands as scheduled.
With naval architecture by German Frers and interior design by Rhoades Young, Sea Eagle has recently completed weeks of scheduled sea trials in the North Sea. She will now be delivered to her owner, Dr. Samuel Yin, an experienced sailor from Taiwan.
Deigned and engineered to meet Mr. Yin’s plans to cruise the world, whilst participating in the occasional superyacht regatta along the way, Sea Eagle is stylish as well as technical in her design.
With a shimmering dark blue hull and chevy white superstructure,
Sea Eagle is the last hull to emerge from the shipyards second climate-controlled paint hall, before building extensions and development gets underway at the yard this summer to increase capacity.
The sale of Sea Eagle resulted from the shipyards recent dedicated to the development of business opportunities in South East Asia. Assisted by Bart J. Kimman, regional liaison director at Northrop & Johnson Asia yacht brokers, the interests of the client and shipyard were brought together to realise the project.
Once development work is complete at the yard in the autumn, the expectation is for an increased workflow between construction and yacht finishing, where yachts of up to 90m or 300ft can be housed in one hall, and yachts of up to 60m or 200ft in another three.
Both paint halls are to be completed with high intensity lighting, air flow, temperature and humidity controls exceeding the stringent requirements of all major paint manufacturers.
