Italian yard Sanlorenzo has launched the third hull in its SX88 series of 26.76-metre (88-foot) motor yachts.
First showcased at the 2017 Cannes Yachting Festival, the new crossover range made its American debut in February at the 2018 Miami Yacht Show, where hull number two was presented.
Due for delivery before the end of March 2018, the third SX88 features a four-cabin layout, which offers accommodation for up to eight guests split across a main-deck master suite and three cabins below decks. A lower-deck galley ensures more space for socialising in the open-plan saloon.
According to Sanlorenzo, the interior décor has been tailored to suit the owner’s tastes, with dark painted Tanganyika listels on all the interior walls signalling the transition between key areas on board. Working in collaboration with leading Italian brands, custom-interior furnishings have been selected to suit the demands of life at sea.
Power comes from a triple 800hp Volvo Penta IPS1050 configuration that allows for a top speed of 23 knots on the open water.
Ten further hulls of the SX88 are currently under construction at the Italian yard, with Sanlorenzo looking to expand the SX range with new 24-metre and 30-metre versions.
