Sea Level Yacht Design reveals new luxury concept superyacht

Dutch studio Sea Level Yacht Design has released details of its concept CF8 motor yacht. Featuring a striking design, CF8 stands for ‘cars and family in 80m’, and the concept was designed with a certain type of owner in mind; one who enjoys innovative design and requires ample storage for a luxury car collection.

The hull and superstructure are linked to one another, with the downward line from the aft upper part of the hull giving her a unique and aerodynamic shape.

On the main deck, a 16m-wide open space welcomes guests on board and, according to the brand, provides an ideal area for relaxation and entertainment. A large amount of space has also been dedicated to the on-board car showroom, housing up to eight cars and measuring 100m2 in total.

Design director, Jeroen van der Knaap, explains, “For this element Sea Level found inspiration in the showroom of Louwman Exclusive Cars in the Netherlands. This showroom is captured in a remarkable 5km long sound barrier along the highway, built out of glass panels. A centre volume with a skin built out of glass would give Sea Level a great opportunity to bring light into the living spaces, and a unique chance to accommodate a car collection that can be admired by people passing by.”

Up to 12 guests can be accommodated over eight VIP cabins, complete with walk-in wardrobes and en-suite facilities. The owner’s suite, on the owner’s deck, features 250m2 of private deck space alongside an eight-person Jacuzzi. There is also accommodation space for 18 crew.
