Second Riva 50m superyacht Fifty launched

Riva’s second 50-metre (164-foot) superyacht Fifty has hit the water for the first time.

The yacht was launched during a private ceremony at the builder’s Ancona-based shipyard on 8^th March 2021.

Speaking about the launch, Ferretti Group chief executive Alberto Galassi said, “Fifty is the demonstration that we Italians know how to imagine and realise masterpieces like no one else in the world. And at this difficult time, my thanks goes to everyone whose skills and efforts have helped build this magnificent ship.”

Reminiscent of the classic Carlo Riva motor yachts, Riva’s 50 Metri flagship superyacht was designed by Officina Italiana Design in collaboration with Riva’s product strategy committee and developed by the Riva Superyacht Division.

With a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the Riva 50 Metri’s exterior features materials including mahogany, steel and glass, as well as a “blue-tinged shark grey” colour.

Spread across four decks, the Riva 50 Metri features accommodation for a total of 12 guests in five cabins, including a main deck master.

Other features include a sundeck with a Jacuzzi, stern tender garage and foredeck storage area suitable for a pair of Jet Skis. The galley is located on the lower deck, while a central dumb waiter services all four decks.

It comes after the first Riva 50 Metri superyacht, Race, first hit the water in 2019.
