Silent Yachts opens office in Port Adriano, Mallorca

Silent Yachts are the first ocean-going production yachts in the world that are fully powered by solar energy. Silent Yachts was founded with the goal of eliminating the major downfalls of yachting as well as the disastrous effects on the environment without sacrificing the slightest bit of luxury.

Silent Yachts’ mission is to create an independent and environmentally friendly yachting experience that combines the silent cruising of a sailing boat with the luxury of a motor yacht. This means nothing less than being fully solar sustainable while having the possibility of unlimited range with zero emissions. Silent Yachts introduces a new era of yachting, which works in harmony with nature.

On every Silent Yacht, solar power is not only used for the propulsion of the vessel, but also for providing energy to all navigation, comfort and household appliances on board. This means you can enjoy all the comfort on board in a sustainable manner while having the possibility of unlimited range.

As the very first fully solar-powered production yacht in the history of nautical travel, the Silent 64 crossed the entire Atlantic Ocean in February 2018. This extraordinary achievement proved the outstanding durability and efficiency of the Silent solar-electric drivetrain even during unfavourable and rough weather conditions.

The company is opening an office in Port Adriano, Mallorca with open days from 22^nd to 24^th May 2021. A Silent 60 and Silent 80 will be berthed in Port Adriano from late summer. Silent Yachts welcomes visitors to their office and on board their solar powered luxury catamarans, offering sea trials on the Silent 55 from the middle of May.
