Southern Wind unveils The Power of 2

South African luxury yacht builder Southern Wind has unveiled the third hull in its 32-metre (105-foot) sailing yacht series SW105, named The Power of 2.

The Power of 2 presents interior and exterior design by Nauta Design and naval architecture by Farr Yacht Design, following on from the first two hulls in its series, Satisfaction and Kiboko Tres.

The vessel features a twin rudder system, fixed bowsprit and a lifting keel that allows access to shallow anchorages.

The deck saloon, designed by Nauta and Southern Wind, presents a protected guest cockpit, integrating the deckhouse lines.

The Power of 2 can accommodate up to eight guests with four en-suite cabins, consisting of the owner’s cabin and three guest cabins. As well as the crew quarters and galley which sit aft.

The ‘light, bright and an open-space’ saloon can comfortably hold up to 10 guests. There is also a custom bar forward of this area which separates the main saloon from the owner’s space.

The Power of 2 will commence sea trials before she is due to be delivered next month, ahead of undertaking a ‘very intense cruising plan’.
