Sunreef Yachts announces construction of all-carbon fibre sailing yacht

Polish yard Sunreef Yachts has started construction on an all-carbon fibre Sunreef 80 sailing yacht, ahead of its scheduled delivery in 2020.

Sunreef 80’s weight-reducing features will include an in-house built carbon mast and boom. The sailing yacht will provide the option to be powered wind-free by two 280HP engines.

Being an “experienced yachtsman”, the owner custom-built the yacht in collaboration with Sunreef after previously chartering a Sunreef 74.

Sunreef 80’s individually tailored layout will include vast accommodation for 11 guests and a separate area for crew members. Guests will be able to make use of the spacious saloon including a panoramic view and al fresco dining space, with access on to the bow terrace and cockpit.

Sunreef Yachts will present the Sunreef 80 sailing yacht next month at Cannes Yachting Festival.
