Superyacht Enthusiasts Can Experience ‘Jazz on the Bay’ in St Lucia Tonight

Jazz lovers have a chance to experience ‘Jazz on the Bay’ at the Marigot Bay Marina tonight (May 4th) as part of the St Lucia Jazz Festival.

The St Lucia Jazz Festival (April 19th to May 13th), now in its 21st year, will be a major destination for charter yachts over the next week – especially as more than 50 acclaimed artists are scheduled to perform.

Big stars at the event will include iconic diva Diana Ross and Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter Toni Braxton. Both will perform on the event’s Main Stage on May 13th.

‘Jazz on the Bay’ meanwhile features a number of home-grown musicians who will perform for locals and visitors. Among them is the noted touring artist Darren Shephard.

Tonight’s event is being staged at the island’s Marina Village, home of Discovery Hotel and the Marigot Bay Marina.

Ten–90 Duo, featuring Mervin Wilkinson, is also among the event’s top-billed performers. Wilkinson will perform his own blend of Caribbean Rhythms mixed with R&B, Pop and Jazz, as featured on his debut album entitled ‘Influences’.

The event also has food stalls boasting a Caribbean Jazz themed menu.

‘Jazz on the Bay’ will be hosted by radio personality Superman HD, aka Pringles. Attendees will include Lorne Theophilus of the Saint Lucia Labour Party, Minister for Tourism and Creative Industries.
