SUTL secures management contract for new luxury superyacht marina in Indonesia

SUTL Enterprise has confirmed it has been awarded its second management contract in Indonesia for an upcoming marina on Nirup Island, which is situated within easy reach of Singapore and Batam.

SUTL’s new contract, awarded by Batam-based PT Tritunas Sinar Benua, is for 10 years. SUTL will now also be consulting on the project, which is expected to begin construction this year and be completed within 18 months.

Upon completion, the Nirup Island marina will be the closest resort island to Singapore and boast a wealth of recreational options for tourists and superyacht owners visiting the region. The entire site, including marina and clubhouse, will fall under the ONE°15 brand as ONE°15 Marina Nirup Island. It means that ONE°15 members will be able to access exclusive areas and discounts once the marina is open for business.

In addition, SUTL have also secured first refusal rights for the assets should the property ever be up for sale.

SUTL have revealed that the marina will be built to meet the highest international standards and sprawl across an area totalling more than 4.7 hectares. It will have 112 berths for vessels of various sizes, including large superyachts, as well as associated facilities and on-shore amenities. It will also feature a sea sports centre and a dedicated charter hub if visitors wish to go island hopping around the neighbouring archipelago. ONE°15 Marina Nirup Island will be able to provide Custom Immigration Quarantine Procedures (CIQP) services for arriving in and departing from Indonesian shores.

Nirup Island already boasts a number of top-quality hotels and water villas managed by well-known chains. There is also a seafood centre and a number of other attractions.

Nirup Island’s marina will be the eighth ONE°15 site for SUTL.
