Tactical Custom Boats sells Tactical 77 project

Canadian yard Tactical Custom Boats has confirmed the sale of a 23.47-metre (77-foot) new-build project, called Tactical 77 Fast Pilothouse Motoryacht.

This all-aluminium yacht was designed and engineered in Wisconsin by Bill Prince Yacht Design to be built at Tactical’s shipyard in British Columbia.

Bill Prince explained, "Our client has a specific set of requirements for this remarkable boat which are simply not available from any other vessel of this size today. 

"We’ve designed go-anywhere capability and luxurious accommodations inside aggressive, pseudo-military exterior styling.” 

On-board there will be an open-plan saloon featuring contemporary styling, a relaxed lounge area, a pop-up TV and an adjacent bar and galley. Additional key features include gyroscopic stabilisers and an open cockpit for a relaxing cruising experience.

Tactical 77 will also have a folding transom that will allow a wide variety of water toys to be launched without the need for a davit crane.

The yard has yet to disclose the engine installation or top speed, but the 77 is scheduled to undertake her sea trials next year.
