IMA Yachts launched a new program called, The Captain’s Office at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show earlier this year. The service is designed to support the busy yacht captain and breaks away from the more traditional “yacht management” models.
The program is focused on support, not management. IMA Yachts explained, “The exciting aspect of this program is that you can choose as much or as little support as you wish. We will never tie you into a contract (unless you prefer to do this) and our services are on a month‐to‐month basis, with any unused hours in any given month, rolled over to the next.”
The administrative rates start at $80.00 per hour, and this can be discounted further by pre-purchasing hours at the beginning of each month.
The company added, “All of us at IMA Yachts are seasoned industry veterans and truly care about providing the best yachting support experience to our clients. We do believe that the busy yacht captain will benefit from having a dedicated support team ashore.”
IMA Yachts also offers new construction and refit support, regulatory and statutory compliance support and shore support services.
