The Crew Coach and Interior Yacht Services combine to provide superyacht training solution

Luxury yacht crew performance and interior service training specialists, The Crew Coach (TCC) and Interior Yacht Services (IYS), have joined forces to provide superyachts with a combined training solution, created to help crew reach high levels of professionalism, service, loyalty and dedication.

As one of the yachting industry’s leading providers of hospitality training, Interior Yacht Services will collaborate with The Crew Coach, who address overall operations by working with crew teams to fine-tune performance, streamline crew communication and reinforce strong leadership.

Founded by industry crew training experts Alison Rentoul and Peter Vogel, The Crew Coach and Interior Yacht Services aim to develop crew’s passion, motivation and enthusiasm required to bring guests the ultimate in yachting experiences through this combination, according to a recent press release from the companies.

The newly combined TCC and IYS on board training packages are fully bespoke and designed to meet the specific requirements of each yacht. Packages range from three to five days with the option of including yachting’s exclusive PYA recognised GUEST (Guidelines for Unified Excellence in Service Training) certificates and the UK’s ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) Leadership Training certificates for participants as required.

IYS and TCC put their collaboration to the test recently in Antibes, during a five-day interior training course on board 73m M/Y Odessa. According to the companies, feedback from participants reinforced how valuable it was to combine IYS’s hospitality and service training with a one day TCC Crew Dynamics workshop.
