The new generation of light bulbs for the marine industry

Bulled is a new generation of light bulbs invented by German company, LEDO Led, it has been distributed exclusively in the marine industry by LED applications specialist Mobile, Media & More since mid-October 2012.

Bulled light bulbs are used in the creation of top-of-the-line LED solutions for luxury yachts.  At the METS trade show in Amsterdam from 13th to 15^th November 2012, the Bulled light bulbs are on display at the stand of Mobile, Media & More in the Superyacht Pavilion.

The award-winning Bulled is available in three different versions: the “Bulled Classic” comes with sleek, streamlined fins, the “Bulled Star” features star-shaped LEDs, while the “Bulled Modular” sports a round lamp head and fin cones made from anodized aluminium; available in metallic, silver, golden, black, blue, green, red, bronze, orange and pink versions.

All three designer pieces are reminiscent of the traditional light bulb, but they each function with highly efficient light-emitting diodes (LEDs). These are semiconductor light sources and their organic material is different from the conventional energy-saving lamps which use toxic mercury.  In terms of service life, LEDs are superior to energy-saving lamps many times over.

The Bulled illuminant fits the classic E27 lamp socket and is therefore also referred to as a “retrofit”.  It matches the standard 60-watt bulb exactly in size, light quality and brightness. Although its power output is only eleven watts, it shines just as brightly as a traditional 60-watt bulb.
