In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Turkish shipyard Turquoise Yachts has delivered 77-metre (252-foot) superyacht Go, a project completed in record time for the firm.
Go – also the yard’s biggest superyacht to date – was launched just 12 months after work was completed on its hull and superstructure, and has been delivered just three months after that.
The flagship superyacht is the fifth collaboration between Turquoise and brokerage firm Burgess, who sold Go to her new European owners in January 2017.
Although based on the 72-metre Vicky, built by Turquoise in 2012 and a recipient of numerous awards in 2013, Go boasts contemporary twists and significant size differences. Exterior design is once again by London-based studio H2 Yacht Design, who combine familiar, elegant lines with cutting-edge style.
Go features a sleeker profile than Vicky, with a clean, stretched arch running around her aft. The additional length and beam size allows for an extra deck as well, with this new space reserved for Go’s spacious owner’s deck. Here her owners find a forward-facing luxury suite with majestic views over the bow, as well as a private deck and Jacuzzi.
In addition, she boasts a sundeck with five-metre pool, a sensational 162-square-metre beach club with triple aspect and a close connection to the sea, and a tender garage with space for two tenders (one up to 10m, another up to eight metres). There is also elevator access to the garage, galley and sundeck.
Go’s interior, also completed by H2 Yacht Design, features accommodation for up to 18 guests and 20 crewmembers. Crew can enjoy two lounges as well as a personal gym, while guests will be able to relax in a large main saloon and dining room. Guest suites offer grand windows and interconnection options.
By sheer coincidence, according to the yard, Turquoise’s new flagship has been painted (in parts) a striking turquoise.
Go will be given a public debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September and will spend the summer months cruising the Mediterranean.
The news of its successful delivery follows on from the unveiling of fresh renderings of 53-metre (174-foot) vessel Tala.
