Turquoise Yachts unveils latest 77m superyacht concept

Turkish shipyard Turquoise Yachts and UK-based yacht designer Ken Freivokh have revealed design plans for the latest superyacht based on the yard’s successful 77-metre (252.6-feet) line of vessels.

Currently named Quantum, the superyacht is set to become one of the largest ever developed by Turquoise Yachts. She will be designed to include a range of innovative features including a flared bow and grey hull with a geometric panelling located amidships – of which one will be centred around the on-board swimming pools, one with salt water and the other with fresh water.

The lower-deck aft swimming pool is seven metres long, positioned over a hexagonal glass grid intended for bringing daylight into the beach club.  Located on the lower deck – adjacent to the beach club – is the drive-in tender bay with room for a 10-metre beach landing.

The beach club and lower-deck gym are supported by open terraces and can only be accessed internally from the main saloon. The main deck saloon will be positioned around a rotating seating group which can be converted into a cinema upon request.

Further main deck amenities include a formal dining area with space for 14 guests, and six double guest staterooms – two of which can be opened to create a large VIP suite with private saloon and double bathroom.

The owners accommodation – positioned on the upper deck – centres around a semi-circular family saloon and terrace. The quarters include a nanny cabin, private saloon/office, and balcony overseeing the double-height space.

The owner’s forward-facing stateroom will allow for a 180-degree view and private deck accompanied by a Jacuzzi and touch-and-go helipad. All three decks are to be linked via a central atrium with see-through flooring and a lift.
