In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Wim van der Valk Continental Yachts has announced that it is nearing completion on construction of its first 19.05m BeachClub 600 yacht, ready for her launch early next year.
Announced in late 2016, and starting construction in early 2017, the shipyard announced that the aluminium hull and superstructure of this first unit will be finished this summer, with the next steps being sandblasting and insulation, followed by preparations for the paintwork.
The BeachClub 600 includes a unique transparent transom door and patent-protected bathing platform technology, which sees IPS950 motorised units installed in her platform.
In a recent statement, representatives at Van der Valk said, “Each week that we work on the BeachClub 600 it becomes ever clearer just how spacious this fabulous yacht is going to be. That, of course, is the whole idea behind this innovative concept which offers a unique way of looking at space by installing the propulsion system aft in the area of the swim platform.”
By repositioning the traditional engine room beneath her bathing platform, the BeachClub 600 has what Van der Valk names to be an “unprecedented amount of interior volume”, plus space for three alfresco areas, with a 25m2 foredeck area, a 17m2 cockpit deck with outside steering position, and a 14m2 beach club aft with a ‘smart’ swimming platform and sun lounge area.
More updates are expected on the BeachClub 600 in the coming weeks.
