Van der Valk shipyard receives order for a third Continental Three

Dutch shipyard Van der Valk has announced that it has received an order for a new Continental Three semi-custom yacht. The yacht will become the third member of the shipyard’s new line and measure an overall length of 26m.

In no way dissimilar to the other Continental Three builds, reports say the latest addition will bring together an overall modern aesthetic with subtle classic touches. Her owner will choose various unique features and adjustments to be made to suit their needs, such as an extended hydraulic tender system.

The new yacht features both exterior and interior design by Dutch studio Guido de Groot, with the interior being primarily kept in teak and other woods. Up to ten guests can be comfortably accommodated over three private cabins with ensuite bathrooms.

Guests can relax on board with the flybridge and two large sunbeds offering space for outdoor entertainment or unwinding in piece. The aft deck, with access to the flybridge and large indoor saloon, includes a large table for al fresco dining.

Two 1,500hp MTU engines will provide a maximum speed of 25 knots, with a cruising speed of 20 knots. The vessel is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
