Vanish unveiled at Feadship’s first launch of 2016

Hundreds of guests gathered over the weekend at Kaag Island, as Feadship launched their first build of 2016, the 66m Vanish.

Jan-Bart Verkuyl, director at Feadship, explained, “This launch party encapsulates the energy with which the owners have embarked on fashioning their Feadship.

“They are excited about enjoying all the options involved in being close to the water, from the exquisite transom sea terrace to the inviting sun deck bar. Vanish has been designed to suit the way they like to spend time on board with a wide array of water sports options. With helipads on both the sun deck aft and bow area, she serves as a springboard to a world of adventures for the owners and their guests.”

Vanish’s owners were heavily involved in the project, and their appreciation for the craftsmanship carried out on their behalf was demonstrated at the launch, where they invited all yard personnel and their partners to take a comprehensive tour of the finished superyacht.

Verkuyl added, “It is very unusual for all the people from the myriad disciplines involved in a superyacht build to actually get to see how everything came together in the end. Vanish is a showcase example of a holistic superyacht, and it is wonderful that everyone involved can experience the fruits of their collective labour in this way.”

The vessel features a full-height atrium with a freestanding staircase and a stunning wall of glass. Four guest suites and an additional VIP suite that can be converted to two extra guest suites provide the accommodation for guests.

The owner’s quarters include his and her bathrooms, and a lounge area that can be closed off with sliding doors to create a standalone room. 17 crew are also on hand to ensure a premium service to all on board.

Powered by two MTU 16V4000 M63L engines, she can reach a maximum speed of approximately 17.5 knots, and can cruise for 5,200nm at 12 knots.
