Viking Crew brings a new experience to online job searching

Viking Crew has launched a brand-new website and online candidate account portal designed to offer crew a fresh experience when it comes to job hunting and progressing their career.

The mobile-friendly platform provides a secure portal which is easy and simplified for crew to register, store and update personal information; the application steps have been streamlined to reduce the time needed to apply for a position.

The new Viking Crew job alerts also give candidates instant access to the most exciting jobs from around the world.

Once in the recruitment process candidates will be able to receive automatic application feedback to jobs they are being considered for, as well as benefit from an automated CV indexer, which ensures personal details, skills and experience come to the attention of Viking Crew placement consultants for the most relevant positions.

The new platform is also integrated across the Viking Maritime Group, which means wherever a crew member is in their career, from starting a cadetship with Chiltern Maritime to attending safety and development training with the Maritime Skills Academy or one of its managed officers at Viking Crew, they will have the peace of mind of ongoing communication and oversight from Viking’s experienced team.

To compliment the fresh online experience, Viking has made massive changes to the Viking Crew website, which has been given a major face-lift. The update brings into line the new Viking Maritime Group branding.

As always, Viking Crew’s teams based in the UK, New Zealand, Philippines and Fort Lauderdale, USA, are on hand to provide guidance and support.
