Wahoo Ribs enjoys record sales

Wahoo Ribs Ltd, a UK-based RIB manufacturer has announced that it is enjoying record sales of its high-end range of superyacht tenders.

Paul Holland, managing director at Wahoo Ribs commented, “We have six vessels under construction in our manufacturing plant in Southampton with sales about to close on four more. The Wahoo brand is fast becoming the tender of choice for discerning superyacht owners.”

Wahoo announced six new models at the Antibes Yacht Show earlier this year, spearheaded by a brand new all-weather limousine and a 6.2m SOLAS rescue tender. The existing 350, 600 and 700HP vessels have all been upgraded with improved hulls and refreshed interiors.

The early part of 2014 also saw the signing of a partnership with the Greek shipping group Spanopoulos who will be actively marketing Wahoo to its clients and a broader audience of superyacht owners and captains in the region.

Based in Fareham, Hampshire (UK), Wahoo has six models in its portfolio ranging from a 6.2m inboard crew tender and ocean-eating 700 HP chase boat to an 11.5m explorer support vessel. Also in the line is a fully certified SOLAS rescue launch and a new all-weather limousine.
