Wally reveals 48wallytender X at Miami Yacht Show

Italian yacht builder Wally Yachts has unveiled the 48wallytender X at Miami Yacht Show 2020.

The first unit of a new, fully powered outboard version of the Wally day cruiser, the tender features a deep blue paint finish and sports four 450hp outboard racing engines.

The 48wallytender X can reach top speeds in excess of 55 knots, and a cruising speed of 40 knots, with a range of 320 nautical miles, which can extend to 350 nautical miles at 36 knots.

Stefano de Vivo, managing director of Wally, commented, “As a hotspot for the outboard yachting lifestyle, Florida is the perfect place to unveil this thrilling new model.

“With four 450hp outboard racing engines primed to unleash astounding speeds, the 48wallytender X will turn heads with its unique blend of power and style: the perfect choice for anyone who loves innovative high-performance boats.”

Luca Bassani, Wally founder, added, “We are very proud of what we have achieved with the breath-taking 48wallytender X.

“We have been able to maintain the strong aesthetic identity of Wally and the many practical features already found on the inboard model, perfectly suited to serve the needs of clients who prefer the outboard experience in their boating lifestyle, including top speeds and high levels of performance coupled with unrivalled seakeeping.”

The reveal follows the third and fourth units of the 48 Wallytender, which made their international debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival last year, after the Ferretti Group’s acquisition of the Wally brand.

The tender features a spacious suite on the lower deck, including carbon fibre decking with furniture and panels in teak.

The 48wallytender X also comprises generous seating, sunbeds and alfresco dining.
