Williams Jet Tenders is set to expand its tender offering with the introduction of a new range specifically designed for superyachts over 40 metres (131 feet).
The new superyacht range is a response to Williams’ customer base moving towards “larger yachts”.
The first model in the new range of all-purpose, semi-custom superyacht tenders and chase boats is the Evojet 70, which is being primed for launch later in 2019. A larger sister model will then be rolled out in 2020.
Evojet 70 spans seven metres and will have a beam of 2.65 metres, with the ability to carry up to 13 passengers. According to Williams, the new model will carry “all the hallmark traits of the current Williams range”, with a fuel capacity of 200 litres and power from Yanmar 4LV diesel engines.
Among the key features are a deep-V hull, foldout walk-through transom and single level flat floor. The boarding options are plentiful given the tender’s intended use on yachts over 40 metres, while there is an optional carbon fibre T-Top and concealed LED lights to allow for night-time boarding.
Elsewhere, its water ski mast and its large storage capabilities ensure it is a perfect dayboat for the practice of water sports.
Mathew Hornsby, sales director at Williams Jet Tenders, said, “The new Evojet range is a real game changer for the business and it’s the start of the next chapter in Williams’ history.
“Tenders placed on board 40-metre-plus superyachts are often custom built, and this ultimately means a higher cost and a longer lead time. Our proposition is unique, we can deliver a semi-customised product in a shorter lead time than our competitors.”
