In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
American-based full-service superyacht company YachtCreators has discussed an upcoming 27-metre (89-foot) yacht, built in aluminium, for an American serial entrepreneur and boater.
The first of the LeVen Yachts brand, she was built in The Netherlands at the Van der Valk shipyard to a design by Vripack Naval Architects.
The Bahamas-ready yacht, which has a draft of 1.3 metres, is the first known yacht project to implement Voith’s linear jet propulsion system.
The new yacht’s owner, Lucas Silva, has worked closely with YachtCreators on developing the project to ensure it fits his lifestyle.
“For families like mine, boating in the Exumas means navigating shallow waters accessible only with a smaller boat," Silva said. "When we arrive, we want the benefits of a superyacht, e.g. the comfort and the fun ... jet skiing, paddleboarding, spearfishing, scuba diving. That's real living.
"On our 37-metre, my family appreciated the confidence that came with building to Class, the water toy storage, the superyacht-low noise levels and the massive outdoor decks. On our 50-footer, we enjoyed the simplicity of use, the connection with the water, agility, and the shallow draft. On LeVen, my family now wants to experience the best of both worlds."
The yacht features significant outdoor spaces across both its 60-metre flybridge and main deck. Inside, an open layout and high ceilings allow views throughout with a central galley for casual family gatherings on the main deck. Named the ‘Great Room’, the entire main deck has been designed specifically for family time. The eat-in galley is vast and surrounded by windows to light up the entire space.
On-board accommodation consists of four guest cabins, which are located below, in addition to two cabins for crew.
For easy launch of tenders and toys, a sport deck is fitted with a Transformer platform. On quiet evenings and nights while at anchor, the yacht relies on lithium batteries to power the air conditioning and the boat for up to 12 hours. Solar panels, located on top of the hardtop, help to recharge the batteries.
The yacht’s top speed is around 26 knots, with a range of 400 nautical miles.
The official launch date for the new LeVen Yachts model is set for late September, with an official debut scheduled for the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show at the end of October.
