Gruppo Boero is a leader in the sector of paint and coating products in the yachting industry.

The yachting division was established in the 1970s, drawing on centuries of experience gained by Boero Bartolomeo S.p.A., which decided to exploit its heritage in the marine sector and embark on a new adventure.

At the outset, it offered the market a comprehensive and diversified range of coatings for the pleasure craft segment. Then, in 1983, after years of experimentation, the Yacht Line made its debut, offering coating cycle products for prestigious pleasure crafts that were immediately endorsed by sector operators.

This marked the start of the first profitable partnerships with leading Italian shipyards: Benetti, Baglietto, Perini Navi, CRN.

With the launch of the Boero Yacht Paint brand in 1991, the company delivered its first, tin-free antifouling products to the market and decided to develop its business strategy through research, production, distribution and assistance services devoted to boat protection products. In 2004, to satisfy growing demand from Italy’s finest shipyards, an entire range of products was developed for the superyacht market. This was how the SuperNavi brand came into being, confirming the company’s growing role as the main supplier of leading shipyards in Italy and throughout the world.

This brings us to 2010, when the Yacht Paint and SuperNavi lines were incorporated into a single brand, Boero YachtCoatings, to offer an increasingly high-performance range that meets the needs of both small sailing enthusiasts and of yacht and superyacht shipyards, as well as increase brand awareness by exploiting the international profile of the SuperNavi brand and the heritage of the Yacht Paint trademark.
