Posidonia Oceanica is a marine plant, endemic to the Mediterranean Sea. It lives between 0 and 40 metres depth. It is highly protected and is the key habitat for the Mediterranean Sea. Its economical calue is higher than that of coral reefs! The growth is really slow, and once destroyed we cannot restore it.
