Formed by a team of individuals with a passion for marine mechanical systems and equipment, the business now specialises in yacht engine troubleshooting and gearbox repairs, keeping superyachts moving. Gearbox servicing, maintenance and repair

Offering outstanding superyacht engine and gearbox services to superyachts in France and Italy, Marine Transmissions provides both emergency repairs and annual servicing and maintenance packages. One-year, five-year and ten-year servicing and maintenance packages are offered to keep superyacht gearboxes running efficiently and effectively, with minimal downtime.

With Marine Transmissions' unique way of working, the majority of issues can be fixed on board, minimising the costly need to remove engines and gearboxes from the yacht. Its expertise ranges from comb filters, discs and gear teeth, to heat exchangers, oil pumps, control units and couplings. Upon intervention, each element is inspected, cleaned and, if necessary, replaced to keep the yacht moving. Trials and testing are offered for complete peace of mind.

Prop shafts and sealing

Marine Transmissions can also assist with prop shaft repairs, shaft and bracket straightening, custom design and fabrication of new shafts and brackets, supplying and fitting original parts for Feretti, Cranchi, Riva, Princess and Sunseeker.

Using specialist equipment, Marine Transmissions can identify and define the exact position of the vibration, which often means only the worn parts (and right parts) can be replaced, avoiding unnecessary costs.
