Actisense, a leading marine electronics brand, has been providing free guidance to the marine industry on their specialist products and how to get the most from them.
As part of their campaign for industry knowledge development, Actisense, the marine electronics brand from Active Research Limited, have been offering free workshops to their loyal customers and those within the marine industry.
Based on the success of their first workshop, which took place in February 2015 the second workshop was held on the 29th of April, to a conference full of industry professionals.
Conducted by Phil Whitehurst, managing director of Actisense, along with Andy Campbell, chief engineer and Owen Vachell, technical support engineer, the workshop focused on topics including creating reliable hybrid NMEA networks, how to solve typical NMEA 0183 network issues and how the NMEA 2000 can reduce installation time, cost and weight.
Phil Whitehurst, commenting on the workshop explained, “In this fast moving industry, we are dedicated to supplying intelligent sensors that are unrivalled for their quality, features and reliability. By holding this workshop we wanted to share our knowledge and provide our customers with a valuable insight on how to make the most of our innovative products.”
