‘A-FRAME’ is the name of the crane designed and built by Advanced Mechanical Solutions in collaboration with Cantiere delle Marche for the first Cantiere delle Marche Flexplorer, M/Y Aurelia, to comfortably move tenders and toys larger than those feasible with a classic 3-deck layout where, normally, the garage or upper deck is used for transport.
The ‘A-FRAME’ is designed for perfect integration into the yacht's deck. In retracted position, cranes and hydraulic actuators are hidden by three flaps that open and close automatically, allowing the crane to exit and re-enter when the tender is launched.
For this reason, the crane guarantees maximum functionality and efficiency, respecting the aesthetics of the yacht without scarifying important areas of the boat such as the upper deck and the garage.
With M/Y Aurelia, in addition to the ‘A-FRAME’ crane, Advanced Mechanical Solutions has also designed and built the foldable bulwark and the aft shell door. Another innovative and technological product, conceived and designed by Advanced Mechanical Solutions is the manual carbon crane that very few companies in the world currently produce.
