Miami-based shipyard Alpha Custom Yachts has introduced a 35-metre (114-foot) design to its Spritz range, known as the Alpha Spritz 116.
Alpha Custom Yachts worked closely with designer Giorgio Cassetta and naval architect Laurent Giles to develop the flagship concept in light of the success of the first Spritz 102, named Andrieka IV.
The flagship design boasts an impressive beam of 8.2 metres (26 feet) with a draft of just 1.8 metres (5.9 feet) thanks to the hull form and its lightweight composite construction.
Cassetta commented, “Everything is home-sized, which is what I love. It’s the standard you’d expect on a 45- or 50-metre yacht.”
The full-beam master suite on the main deck showcases oversized windows that sit within half a metre of the waterline, connecting owners with their surroundings.
Outside, Alpha Spritz 116 hosts a spacious lounge with seating on the foredeck, while a 100-square-metre flybridge boasts more socialising space and ample seating. The open aft deck serves as the main social area on board.
The covered alfresco dining space is located forward on the aft deck and connects the outdoor beach club and the interior main salon. It is fitted with a large marble dining table and a portside wet bar. Overhead, the teak ceiling helps wick away moisture and is designed to include air conditioning vents, LED lighting, and a surround sound system.
The aft deck holds a hydraulically operated platform capable of supporting a tender, and a large plunge pool that can serve as a dancefloor when covered with a teak top. Prospective owners will have the ability to add customisations, with autonomy over furnishings and adaptations.
