Body of missing crew member found

The body of a crew member who went missing near the coast of Cannes on 30th August has been found, The Crew Report has announced.

According to reports, the crew member, 24-year old Rhys Cochrane from New Zealand was found on 2nd September, after going missing while swimming off the yacht he worked on during his break, near the coast of Cannes.

French officials called off the search for Rhys on 1st September after being unable to locate him, but New Zealand charity Give A Little reported that he had been found on 2nd September.

According to Dockwalk and local news sources, details of the incident are still unknown, but it was revealed that Cochrane was reportedly a PADI Divemaster who had skippered dive boats, and completed and Adventure Tourism Management course in Queenstown.
