Garments on offer include a range of polo shirts, parkas, windbreakers, and other nautical-styled items with a focus on fashion, eco-friendliness and versatility.

With a philosophy around environmental respect, Captain Cool was created to deliver high-performance, exclusive nautical clothing that is also ecologically produced, with the supply and production chain focusing on low greenhouse gas emissions, water control, and the use of recycled materials.

The firm also state that the well-being and health and safety of all personnel involved in the supply chain of its products is an essential aspect of the business.

Alfredo Pérez, founder and manager at Captain Cool commented, “We are all responsible for the future of our planet and of the world that our children will inherit from us, both physical and in values. At Captain Cool, we are aware [of this] and, therefore, we are reducing the use of damaging toxic chemical products and we encourage recycling, we support fair working conditions and we explore all the possible ways to inspire the change.”

Commenting on his products recently being used by mountain hikers as well as boaters, Alfredo said, “It has been a pleasant surprise but not a strange one. When a product is good and the public likes it, it sails along by itself."
