Sail Away with Anna Cabanna, a nautical storybook for children, has been released. Written by the Monaco-based yachting business consultant Marcela de Kern Royer, Sail Away with Anna Cabanna teaches the basics of sailing through engaging storytelling.
Combining technical terms with plenty of adventure, the book brings together important life values, as well as teaching respect for the sea, and is aimed at the next generation of oceanographers, meteorologists and sailors.
Following the sustainability values of the Principality of Monaco to protect our oceans, this book inspires the next generation to love the sea, but to do so responsibly. Sail Away with Anna Cabanna includes a strong message to future generations worldwide, aiming to spark the change and action we need to fight climate change.
Sail Away with Anna Cabanna also includes an activity book segment, complete with a sailing logbook for children to record all of their adventures, and a section called ‘Speak like a Sailor’ which includes a glossary of nautical terms and seafaring expressions.
