A 57-metre (187-foot) explorer yacht concept named Commodore 57 has been revealed by the Liebowitz & Partners design studio.
Described as a “robust and effective explorer yacht” with “contemporary-classic” styling, the yacht pairs flowing interiors with versatile deck spaces and plentiful tender storage.
As a result, the concept boasts the “robust charm of timeless seagoing vessels without the compromise of vintage builds”, according to the studio.
Tender storage is key to the design, with enough room to store both a 10.4-metre (34-foot) expedition tender and an 8.5-metre (27-foot) sport RIB.
“Aside from a good bed and a creative chef, the most important tool aboard for any vacation is a capable, big tender,” said designer Richard Liebowitz.
Elsewhere, the concept features a spacious beach club area, complete with a sauna and massage suite, two spa pools, a sundeck gym and dedicated dive centre.
The yacht would feature a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, draft of 3.15 metres (10.3 feet) and 9.9-metre (32-foot) beam. Accommodation is for a total of 10 guests in a main deck master suite and four further guest cabins. Crew accommodation is for a staff of 12.
Power will come from a hybrid propulsion system for a top speed of 16 knots.
