After taking over its La Rochelle shipyard from Atlantic Refit Center in September 2016, having been denied its former tender for the Port of La Ciotat, Compositeworks is reportedly expecting its first superyacht project on Wednesday 7th March.
With dry docks totalling over 280m in length, Compositeworks’ new facilities in La Rochelle cater to super and mega yachts from 30m LOA and upwards.
At 107m long and 18m wide, Kleven’s M/Y Ulysses will be the first project to arrive at the yard since its takeover, for two and a half months of scheduled works, which is reported to include a hull repaint.
Compositeworks has not yet released comment on the upcoming works.
Ulysses is currently one of the industry’s most talked about superyachts, with her advanced design and technical outfitting allowing her to undertake long expeditions in rough waters. According to her builder Kleven, which specialises in offshore vessels, she “blends a hard-working character with luxurious added extras”.
Visit Compositeworks for more information on its facilities, or read news about M/Y Ulysses.
