Sunseeker has announced the delivery of the first hull in its 116 superyacht series, which has been named Sesame.
Part of a range of 30m yachts dubbed as the “next generation”of Sunseeker yachts, the 116 features an updated superstructure design and is reported to have been built on the platform of the Sunseeker 115 Sport Yacht.
Her layout is primarily suited to entertaining, with the foredeck offering the option of a large hot tub, and a retractable sunroof on the flybridge which features a lounging and dining area alongside a standard-size hot tub.
Gary Cleaverly, director at Sunseeker Turkey commented, “Sesame will be used privately by the owner and his family. Having ordered the boat nearly 18 months ago, the owner has spent a great deal of time customising the interior, including special bulkhead features and a custom handmade dining table.”
The interior of the 116 is also designed with entertaining in mind, featuring a large main saloon with full-height windows, and a dining room able to seat up to 10 guests. However the layout and features of the 116 range are able to be customised to suit the owner.
Sean Robertson, sales director at Sunseeker explained, “Like all our next wave of superyachts, every element of the 116’s design and layout can be individually tailored through our unique ‘bespoke’ service”.
In terms of power, Sesame will have a cruising speed of 19 knots, and maximum speed of 26 knots.
