Flying Charter appointed as central agents for M/Y Maria Teresa

Flying Charter has been appointed as sole central agents for the ‘enchanting’ 24m tugboat M/Y Maria Teresa, which has recently been transformed into a luxury yacht, available for charter in the Mediterranean.

Luce Di Lella, marketing manager at Flying Charter explained, “Newly built yachts are undoubtedly wonderful, but built in 1962, Maria Teresa has an interesting story at her shoulders, with a charm that no other state-of-the-art-design can compete with.

“She worked hard for over 30 years between Italy and France, and took part in the extension of Monte Carlo harbour under the direction of a Monegasque company. At the end of her career, she was then sent to a shipyard to be dismantled, but a fortunate meeting with a ship owner who fell in love with her let Maria Teresa come back to the sea in a new sparkling guise; she had become a 24m luxury yacht!”

According to Flying Charter, beyond her timeless and classical charm, Maria Teresa offers ample outer deck space; with two decks and a more private flybridge, she ideal for those who enjoy spending their time out in the open sea air.

A sofa and shaded alfresco dining area are set on the main deck, just beneath the upper deck aft, which hosts its own outdoor lounge area with armchairs, sunchairs and a bar.

Inside, an airy and comfortable salon is furnished with a leather sofa and large table for formal dinners. Accommodation includes two tastefully appointed double suites and two twins, with additional Pullman berth for up to 10 guests; all equipped with private bathrooms and HD TV’s. On board, she also holds a 4.2m tender, and water toys for her guests to enjoy, including a Donut, water skis, stand up paddle boards and snorkelling equipment.

Luce continued, “With her multitude of spaces to gather and relax, and her stable and slow cruising, Maria Teresa will make you relish every moment of your holiday.”
