Informa Markets outlines initial plans for Monaco Yacht Show 2021

On 26th June, Informa Markets announced the postponement of the Monaco Yacht Show to September 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic which has caused unprecedented health, social and economic challenges around the world. The show postponement was a delicate and wise decision supported by the government of Monaco and the international yachting community. With this year being the 30th anniversary of the Monaco Yacht Show, it is a great shame the event cannot take place. In three decades, this is the first time that the Principality of Monaco will not add the “MYS blue” to its heraldic red and white colours.

However, since last July, the Monaco Yacht Show team have been carrying out an in-depth research initiative involving a large panel of industry leading decision-makers, yacht owners, superyacht builders and broker agencies, designers, nautical suppliers or luxury manufactures exhibited at the show. The conclusions of this research will draw the shape of the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show and the team hope to fulfil the expectations of the participants and the objectives of exhibitors. The first results discern an appealing show for next year. Informa Markets and the Monaco Yacht Show organisers will present the 2021 edition in the coming weeks.

On 22nd September 2021, the superyacht community will gather together on port Hercule for the official 30th Monaco Yacht Show. Meanwhile, the port Hercule staff will continue to respect the sanitary measures and remain vigilant and united.
