Keel laid on 100m Admiral flagship Hull 597

The Italian Sea Group has laid the keel on its 100-metre (328-foot) hybrid superyacht known as Hull 597 (previously Project Titanium).

Designed inside and out by Winch Design, Hull 597 is due for delivery in 2025 and will be built beneath The Italian Sea Group’s Admiral brand.

The project will see Imperial act as owner’s representative and build supervisor throughout construction, and it represents the third collaboration between Imperial and The Italian Sea Group. The pair are currently collaborating on Project Blue Marlin and another confidential project.

While only a line drawing has been released, the shipyard revealed the yacht would feature a certified helicopter landing pad, a "huge" swimming pool, spa and a multi-deck saloon.

Hull 597 has been designed to balance “high-quality standards with high tech solutions” while emphasising “attention to eco-sustainability”, Imperial said. As a result, the yacht will feature a diesel-electric propulsion system powered by Azipods.

Director of yachts and aviation at Winch Design, Jim Dixon, described the yacht as “incredibly dynamic” and promised it “will be a landmark for the industry”.

Giuseppe Taranto, Admiral vice chairman of The Italian Sea Group, said, “Today, we confirm our know-how and specific competences in the construction of giga-yachts with such innovation. This project is a further confirmation of our presence in this segment, both for what concerns new builds and refit.”
