Mallorca Distillery’s Palma Gin wins gold medal at San Francisco World Spirits Competition

Mallorca Distillery’s Palma Gin has recorded a second award win in the space of a month after being handed a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

The achievement comes four weeks after Palma Gin was awarded the ‘Great Gold’ medal in the gin category at the Spanish Catavinum World Wine & Spirits Competition (CWWSC) 2019.

In their latest success at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, judges described Palma Gin as ‘an exceptional spirit that is near the pinnacle of achievement, this product sets the standard for its category’.

Founded in 2000, the San Francisco World Spirits Competition is one of the oldest and most prestigious competitions of its kind, renowned for its passion and professionalism. Throughout the years, it has earned an outstanding reputation among trade and consumers.

The competition is judged by a blind tasting process guaranteeing that every entry is assessed fairly and given equal consideration, with the main emphasis on integrity and impartiality. The judging panel consists of more than 40 experienced experts, including esteemed beverage directors and renowned authors.

Meanwhile, Mallorca Distillery’s Palma Gin will be showcased at the Palma Superyacht Show later this month (27^th April to 1^st May) on Yachting Pages Media Group’s stand. Its team will be offering visitors the chance to taste their award-winning gin throughout the show, subject to availability.
