Ocean Refit Yacht Carpentry, a leading carpentry and joinery company for superyachts, is now able to construct teak decks of any size for the yachting and boating industries.
The company has recently acquired a new workspace dedicated solely to constructing teak decks. This coupled with their existing joinery workshop, means they now have a total of 2,000 metres of floor space, enabling them to produce some of the largest teak decks in the world.
Ocean Refit is confident they can lay out any size of teak deck for any size of yacht. Robert Eldridge of Ocean Refit said, “We are now able to produce teak decks of a higher standard than ever before, combining the best points of traditional and modern construction.”
Determined to expand the company to serve the larger sea vessels, Robert also went on to say, “We can lay out any size of yacht's teak deck on the workshop floor, and if we get any enquiries from cruise ships, we'll go and find more space!”
When explaining about the detailed process of creating the deck, Robert stated, “We can exactly draw the teak deck on the computer screen, at this stage offering our client various presentations of different options of the finished deck. When all these details are approved by the client we plot the deck out onto the workshop floor for a very quick construction, precisely following the agreed drawings.”
