Numarine unveils new 78HTS with Sportfly

Turkish shipyard Numarine, has unveiled the latest model in its range – the 78HTS.

According to the shipyard, the 78HTS is an evolution of the builder’s existing 78HT, of which she retains some existing and strong ‘signature’ features, while benefitting from a completely new and comfortable sport flybridge with central upper helm station and four sunpads with tilt/recline backrests.

Socialising is at the heart of the design of the 78HTS, which has a “vast saloon” that’s furnished with oversized furniture of a complementary design, to create the “ultimate entertainment space”.  According to Numarine, she is “awash with natural light” thanks to oversized glazing both above and laterally.

Other notable features include a full-beam, en-suite owner’s cabin with “unique design” and plentiful wardrobe space. Guest accommodation is arranged across three en-suite cabins, each outfitted to the highest standards.

Outside, emphasis has been given to relaxation space, with a unique sun pad configuration at her bow providing space for a number of guests to relax in the sun. She also has a forward-facing, ultra-wide lounge seat that provides great views when cruising at speed.

In a recent statement, Numarine said, “Not all changes are aesthetic: The new 78HTS hides a new ‘silent package’ that utilises a system of lithium-ion batteries along with a smart energy management system and an intelligent multi-stage air conditioning system. In simple terms, this allows the owner to sit at anchor the entire day and run all electrical systems including air conditioning, audio/video, appliances, etc. with the generator running only for a short charge at midday – [the] result: Complete silence while enjoying the sea at anchor.

“More importantly, after a short charge in the evening before going to bed, the owner and his guests will be able to sleep in cool cabins without any noise except perhaps that of their peaceful snoring. This technical solution, along with relentless efforts by Numarine Engineering to reduce all sources of noise, vibration and harshness, has made this 78HTS a new benchmark for comfort on board, both in navigation, with luxury car noise levels, and when moored or anchored. Probably the quietest series-built yacht in its class today, with 66dB in the lower deck area at cruise speeds.”
