Ocean Independence unveils new Hamburg office

Ocean Independence, one of the fastest growing companies offering full-service superyacht brokerage, has announced the opening of its new office in Hamburg, Germany. This new location further strengthens the company’s presence in the region.

The office location at Poststraße 36 is both central and significant, with the luxury Hanseviertel shopping centre and the Binnenalster Lake in the immediate vicinity. Together with the head office in Switzerland, this new location provides a close-knit network to better serve the company’s German speaking client base across all yachting services.

Founded in 2005, Ocean Independence operates from 13 offices around the world, speaking 23 different languages. The Hamburg office will initially focus on yacht sales and management activity, with yacht manager and ex-Captain Mirko Derezynski on location. Ocean Independence yacht sales broker Lukas Stratmann is also shifting his focus to Germany, and will now advise and support clients primarily from Düsseldorf and Hamburg.
