Expanding its yacht refit services after a very successful season, the Palmawatch yard has announced that it is hiring for two new career opportunities within the business.
With more than 12 years located within Palma de Mallorca, specialising in the refit and maintenance of motor and sailing yachts up to 40 metres, the brand has made the decision to expand in order to cope with the current demands placed upon the business.
The first of two new positions is for an experienced marine engineer with proven ‘hands on’ experience working within the yachting industry. He or she must have worked with all types of on-board systems aboard sailing and motor yachts up to 40 metres in length.
The second position advertised is for an administration and finance director, who will be expected to work closely with the managing director, Pierre Oberon, in order to assist him during this busy time.
The AFD will have a proven background and recognised qualifications in financial and/or admin management within a small to medium enterprise, as he/she will be expected to manage a small team.
With such international reach and diverse clientele, Palmawatch has specified that the new candidates possess language skills, with the ability to speak and write Spanish, English and possibly German.
Working in what the brand names to be a stimulating environment with a solid financial base due to its committed shareholders, the new marine engineer and AFD can expect to receive a competitive salary working within the yacht refit industry.
