Regent Porto Montenegro has appointed Mango PR in the United Kingdom to represent the newest addition to the Regent Hotels & Resorts Portfolio, which celebrates its full summer of operation this year, offering first-class accommodation to the season’s visiting guests.
Set against one of the most dramatic backdrops in Europe, Regent Porto Montenegro sits at the heart of the glamorous Porto Montenegro superyacht marina in Tivat, on the shores of the Adriatic on Boka Bay.
Designed by British architects, Reardon Smith, the hotel is an elegant pale yellow building with terracotta roof that acknowledges Boka Bay’s 400 years under Venetian rule, while blending into its maritime setting.
The interiors are, according to the marina’s representatives, wonderfully understated - designed by Tino Zervudachi of the famous design company, Mlinaric, Henry & Zervudachi.
This is the first hotel that Zervdachi has undertaken, and as a result, it feels like a private home; there is a subtle nautical theme throughout, and the guestrooms and swimming pool have awe-inspiring views of either the Boka Bay or surrounding mountain ranges.
The hotel also offers its guests access to a secluded private beach, reachable only by a boat ride across the Bay, three restaurants and branded retail shopping.
Lucinda Buxton, founder and director of Mango PR said, “Montenegro has already been dubbed the Monaco of the southern Adriatic, but this astonishing place has been a magnet for glamorous travellers for years; Sofia Loren, Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor, Princess Margaret – even the romantic poet, Lord Byron, who described this coastline as ‘the most beautiful encounter of land and sea’ – and he could have said that yesterday.
“This wonderfully elegant hotel is the perfect base to explore this small by spectacularly beautiful country.”
To mark the summer’s full summer of operation, Regent Porto Montenegro is offering guests a four-night stay for the price of three. Included in the offer is a buffet breakfast, use of the wellness area and swimming pools of the Regent Spa, priority access to the secluded beach and complimentary Wi-Fi. The offer is valid until 30th September 2015 with rates starting from 300 euros per room per night.
