Australian superyacht designers, Sabdes Superyacht Design has recently released a new 39m superyacht design, to be named SLeek.

The new vessel was inspired by the previous Sabdes Design, ‘Project X’ and will be a unique downsized version of the 145m superyacht, created using Feadship’s SL39 platform.

Scott Blee, owner of Sabdes Superyacht Design commented, “The new design proved to be a successful exercise in downscaling some signature styling elements from the much larger yacht design.”

The SLeek includes some noteworthy characteristics, including a mica-painted superstructure which allows certain parts of the vessel to change colour when viewed from different angles. 

She will also feature a sweeping structure from the bow to the aft end of the sun-deck which will visually lower the effect of the tri-decks, and integrated drop down balconies on both port and starboard measuring 2m and 5m in length respectively.

The flybridge has a polycarbonate wrap-around screen which seamlessly grows out of the bridge cabin deck forward. The Portuguese bridge doubles its functionality as a wavebreaker.

In the future Sabdes Design are keen to progress new superyacht designs between the range of 38 and 45 meters.
