Abeking & Rasmussen yacht Bravado undergoes refit

45m superyacht Bravado by Abeking & Rasmussen is currently undergoing an extensive refit at Balk Shipyard.

Having begun work in November last year, the refit is currently said to be progressing on schedule, before Bravado is relaunched at Urk in the Netherlands.

Refit work on Bravado includes altering her exterior colour scheme from original white to a design of white, majestic blue and shark grey. Her sundeck is being expanded to allow for a larger sunbathing area, and new sliding glass doors will feature on the aft deck.

Her interior will also receive a full modern makeover, including the replacement of mahogany woodwork with 200 sq.m of Burmese teak and pale grey wall linings. While her engines will remain in place with a zero-hour overhaul, the owner of Bravado has ordered a new 11.5m custom tender from Wajer & Wajer which will match the style of the vessel, and upgraded water toys include a jet ski and flyboard.

Following the completion of her refit, Bravado will embark on a round-the-world tour with her owner.
