Yachting Pages has put several of the leading safety cases (and other associated products) to the test. The objective: to ascertain how each product performs and determine which one is best equipped to safely contain a lithium battery-induced fire.
Ten years have passed since Italian shipyard Arcadia Yachts’ first A85 was unveiled to the public, marking the start of a new concept of yachts, and this year’s Boot Dusseldorf makes for the perfect stage to present its newest project.
Arcadia Yachts has gained a place on the international stage, delivering approximately 30 yachts and always placing owners and their needs at the heart of every project.
Ugo Pellegrino, sole director of Arcadia Yachts, said, “Returning to Düsseldorf after four years, for such an important anniversary, had a special meaning for us. In 2010 ARCADIA entered the German market with a product that was never seen before, definitely innovative and decidedly different. So, that morning in 2010, the show opened its doors at 10:00 am and, at 10:10 am, the first model was instantly appreciated and purchased by a great savant of the sea world, who decided to live on water, immersed in the world of Arcadia.”
From solar panels that allow a reduction in use of generators whilst at anchor, to the large thermally insulated windows and the high-efficiency semi-planing hull (which allows to considerably reduce fuel consumption), Arcadia’s vessels are designed to give a unique experience of life at sea in close contact with the surrounding environment. The business continues to invest in research and development so that Arcadia can continue to be a leader in sustainability, design, safety and ease-of-use in the yachting industry.
