Baglietto releases pictures of its Project 10228 nearing completion

Italian yard Baglietto has released new images of the second hull in its T-Line 48 series, Project 10228, which is currently in development ahead of its planned launch in July 2018.

Pictures reveal that the yacht is structurally complete and ready to be painted and fared. Indeed, the steel hull had already been joined to the aluminium superstructure last summer.

She is the sistership to Andiamo, which was launched last year for a Mexican owner. Built to Lloyd’s Registry standards, Baglietto 10228 boasts in-house naval architecture, a 9.5-metre (31-foot) beam and a total interior volume of less than 500Gt. Interior and exterior styling comes courtesy of long standing collaborator Francesco Paszkowski Design.

The T-Line 48 series differs from the rest of the Italian yard’s range due to its reverse-angle glazing, which provides superior views from the helm station.

Key features include a spa pool, sunloungers and an al fresco dining table on the sundeck, as well as a beach club area, a gym and a hammam on the transom.

Accommodation on board is for up to twelve guests split between six cabins, including a master suite, two doubles and two twin rooms.

Power comes from a pair of 1,900hp Caterpillar 3512C diesel engines, which allows for a top speed of 16 knots and a maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles at its cruising speed of 12 knots.

Other projects currently under development at Baglietto include the 54m (177ft) Baglietto 10231, due to hit the water in 2020.
